Responsibilities
You should be familiar with pulse MIG welding machines and have professional work experience with a strong focus on quality control. Knowledge of the procedures necessary to achieve high quality work and prove to customers and regulatory authorities that this has been achieved is desirable.
Applicants who are qualified steel welders and have a strong cv but little or no aluminium experience will also be considered.
Time served apprenticeship in Fabrication and Welding
Fabrication / welding / finishing background
Must be experienced in Aluminum welding but Mild Steel and Stainless Steel experience will be considered
All-round familiarity with welding techniques and processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Health and Safety Responsibilities
Maintain an excellent personal safety and environmental record and competently perform daily functions to ensure safe practices and environmental compliance in accordance with company policies.
Responsible for participating in all safety training and assisting in safety procedures such as basic first aid, CPR, fire drills, spill response and emergency evacuation.
Meeting and keeping current with certifications and training provided by WaterBus
Leadership
Demonstrate support of company health, safety and environmental goals to all colleges
